Bryan L. Euler, PhD

Bryan L. Euler, PhD, is the former lead psychologist for Albuquerque Public Schools in Albuquerque, New Mexico. While completing graduate study in educational psychology at the University of New Mexico, Dr. Euler simultaneously completed the clinical psychology work necessary for licensure as a practicing counseling/clinical psychologist and the special education work necessary for licensure as an educational diagnostician. He is licensed as a school counselor, an educational diagnostician, a school psychologist, a supervising school psychologist, and a clinical psychologist. Dr. Euler has worked as a school psychologist for over 25 years in urban and rural schools, in addition to practicing as a clinical psychologist in health care settings.

Dr. Euler is the author of the Emotional Disturbance Decision Tree (EDDT) family of assessment instruments, consisting of the EDDT (a form for teachers), the EDDT Parent Form (EDDT-PF), and the EDDT Self-Report Form (EDDT-SF). He is also coauthor of the white paper Utilizing multiple rater perspectives in emotional disturbance evaluation: A case study with the Emotional Disturbance Decision Tree (EDDT) rating forms. In addition to the EDDT series and white paper, Dr. Euler has publications in other disciplines, including gerontological psychology and rehabilitation psychology.
