Interpretative Guide for Common Concerns of Practitioners using the PAI

In this book, PAI author Les Morey has consolidated the results of clinical and empirical observations into a volume that provides additional insight into PAI interpretation. It is recommended for all practitioners and researchers who wish to maximize their use of this important instrument.

The topics covered in this Interpretive Guide grew out of questions that frequently arose as I presented talks and workshops about using the PAI in many different settings. Participants were always interested in the latest research, conducted by myself and by others, that would help them address important issues in their assessment practice. As I began making presentations to groups who were increasingly sophisticated and experienced in using the PAI, I found it more and more difficult to provide concise answers to their questions; such complex issues required comprehensive explanations. It eventually became clear that an interpretive guide was needed to consolidate what can be determined about some of the most common concerns of the assessment practitioner and researcher who is using the PAI. This volume is an attempt to address that need.
