The CNNS is designed to assist clinicians and researchers in their interpretation of the tests included in its normative system. The Professional Manual provides age-based norms only, whereas the CNNS-SP provides norms based on eight different combinations of demographic and premorbid variables.

Features and benefits

  • Raw scores are used to generate scaled scores, T scores, and percentiles for 73 measure and factor scores derived from 24 tests.
  • Six summary or factor scores were constructed (Processing Speed, Attention/Working Memory, Verbal Learning and Memory, Visual Learning and Memory, Ideational Fluency, and Executive Functioning) from various measures within the tests.
  • Twenty-two discrepancy scores are provided, along with significance tests and cumulative frequency analyses for the obtained differences to assess the examinee’s unique and relative strengths and weaknesses.

Software provides essential information

  • This unlimited-use software helps you easily convert scores for the tests normed by the CNNS. Although the Professional Manual provides age-based norms, the CNNS-SP takes it to the next level by providing norms based on eight different combinations of demographic variables and premorbid IQ.
  • After you provide the client’s demographic and raw score information, the program automatically computes the selected demographically calibrated T scores and factor scores; it also classifies each score qualitatively (e.g., average, borderline, mildly abnormal).
