Adaptive Behavior Assessment System™, Third Edition (ABAS™-3)

Product information: The ABAS-3 provides a comprehensive norm-referenced assessment of adaptive skills in individuals ages birth-89 years.

Materials: Several ABAS-3 forms have been translated into U.S. Spanish: the Adult Forms, the School: Parent Forms, the School: Teacher Forms, the Infant and Preschool: Parent/Primary Caregiver Forms, and the Infant and Preschool: Teacher/Daycare Provider Forms.

Adult Substance Abuse Subtle Screening Inventory–3 (SASSI-3)

Product information: A brief and easily administered screener, the SASSI-3 helps you identify the probability of substance dependence disorder in a given individual and provides information to help you select appropriate treatment.

Materials: The Spanish SASSI-3 requires a 5th-grade reading level and takes only 15 minutes to administer and score. The SASSI-3 is available in a U.S. Spanish kit, which includes Administration and Scoring Instructions, Development and Validation of the Spanish SASSI, 25 Spanish Questionnaires and Profiles, Sample Scored Questionnaire and Profile, Scoring Key, and an English translation of the test. ASEBA® Preschool Forms & Profiles

Product information: The ASEBA preschool forms provide valuable information from parents, teachers, and caregivers on specific behavioral and emotional problems of children ages 1½-5 years.

Materials: The CBCL Preschool Scoring Forms are available in Latino Spanish. In addition, the CBCL Preschool Scoring Module With Multicultural Options allows you to score problem scales with norms for various societies that have relatively low problem scores, intermediate scores, or high scores.

ASEBA® School-Age Forms & Profiles

Product information: The ASEBA school-age forms allow you to obtain information about problematic behavior in school-age children from parents, teachers, and, in the case of older children, the youths themselves.

Materials: The CBCL School-Age Scoring Forms are available in Latino Spanish. In addition, the CBCL School-Age Scoring Module with Multicultural Options and 2007 Scales displays problem-scale profiles and cross-informant bar graphs in relation to multicultural (including U.S.) norms.

Brief International Functional Capacity Assessment (BIFCA)

Product information: The BIFCA is a performance-based measure of functional capacity that assesses an individual’s ability to perform key tasks of daily living. It is designed to be used as a coprimary outcome measure in clinical trials of cognition-enhancing drugs for adults with schizophrenia and related disorders.

Materials: The BIFCA kit, which includes an English-language manual and language-specific Administrator’s Forms, Laminated Respondents’s Sheet, and Shopping List Tablet, has been translated into Spanish for Spain and Spanish for Central and South America.

Cognative Assessment System, Second Edition (CAS2)

Product information: The CAS2 is designed to measure cognitive processing abilities in children and adolescents.

Materials: The CAS2 Spanish Supplement Package includes a U.S. Spanish translation of Chapters 1-3 of the CAS2 Administration and Scoring Manual, a Spanish Expressive Attention and Verbal–Spatial Relations Stimulus Book, and a pack of 10 Spanish CAS2 Examiner Record Forms.

Mini-Mental State Examination, 2nd Edition™ (MMSE®-2™)

Product information: With standard, brief, and expanded forms, the MMSE-2 provides flexibility in screening for cognitive impairment, including subcortical dementia.

Multilingual Aphasia Examination, Third Edition (MAE)

Product information: The MAE assesses three different aspects of oral expression—naming, sentence repetition, and verbal associative capacity. Use the MAE to evaluate the presence, severity, and qualitative aspects of aphasic disorder.

Materials: The entire MAE Kit has been adapted into U.S. Spanish—it includes a Spanish manual, Reading Stimulus Cards, Visual Stimulus Cards, set of tokens, and 100 each of all record forms.

Parenting Stress Index™, Fourth Edition Short Form (PSI™-4-SF)

Product information: The PSI-4-SF quickly identifies parent–child problem areas. Its 36 items are divided into three domains: Parental Distress (PD), Parent-Child Dysfunctional Interaction (P-CDI), and Difficult Child (DC), which combine to form a Total Stress scale.

Product information: The SDS Form R, 5th Edition, Spanish Version was designed specifically for Spanish-speaking individuals living in the U.S. It was translated by a company that specializes in translating psychological measures and reviewed by practicing bilingual counselors.

Materials: Available in a U.S. Spanish kit, which includes an English-language manual, an English-language Spanish version manual supplement, 25 Spanish Assessment Booklets, 25 Spanish Occupations Finders, and 25 Spanish You and Your Career Booklets. The Spanish forms are also available separately.
