Reynolds Adolescent Depression Scale, 2nd Edition
With RADS-2, a self-report measure, evaluate broad domains of depressive symptomatology in adolescents, ages 11 to 20 years, in school and clinical settings. The RADS-2 also facilitates the screening of adolescents who may be at risk for more serious, diagnostic forms of depression by providing an empirically derived cutoff score that is an indication of the clinical severity of depression reported by an adolescent. The RADS-2 was developed for use by school and clinical psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals who work with adolescents.
Overcome Barriers to Assessment
Do you have adolescent clients who struggle with reading or who may need additional time due to significant psychological problems that may interfere with their concentration and completion of the test? The RADS-2 can be administered aloud to adolescents who have reading problems or developmental delay. The RADS-2 can also be administered to individuals or groups and is also available in short form.
